Ways to Support

Since its founding in 2019, Nusantara Arts has introduced Indonesian arts to thousands of people each year, making the cultural landscape of our community even more vibrant.

As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we rely on the support of our community to help sustain our small but growing operation. For us to continue presenting unique Indonesian music and performance art that otherwise would not be available in the Western New York area, we will need to receive additional support. We greatly encourage you to become a supporting member of Nusantara Arts. Here are some tangible ways you can support our organization with your time, money, or both.

Make a Donation

Your one-time or recurring tax-deductible gift helps support our talented and dedicated team devoted to promoting gamelan music in our community and beyond, our expanding community education program, worldwide gamelan preservation activities, and more.

Become a Volunteer

We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without our volunteers! Help is needed setting up for and during shows, making snacks, moving instruments, preparing decorations, posting to social media, taking photos, selling merchandise, and more!

Serve on the Board

We are actively seeking passionate volunteer leaders to join and help broaden our board of directors. Board members are actively involved in organizational governance, lending their relevant expertise, and acting as a cheerleader of our mission and vision.
